Description:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Point of contact for tax enquiries to support our clients’ tax servicing needs.

* Taking proactive responsibility for the resolution of clients enquiries within the published standards.

* Pro-active management of client relationships.

* Execute forward thinking to maintain response quality and completeness to prevent case reopening.

* Contribute to the tax component of service reviews and other meetings with the client.

* Analyze root-cause of recurring issues through regular review of metrics, and assist in developing programs for service enhancements arising from these figures.

Provide Support and guidance on:

o Outstanding/expiring tax documentation

o Relief at Source

o Tax Refunds

o Tax Regulatory Reporting

* Continually review operational tax processes to identify areas for enhancement.

* Identify and escalate tax risks and participate in resolution.

* Assist in client tax account reviews and ad-hoc projects across the wider Tax Operations team.

Coordinate and process information received. Assist in preparing information for filing documents. Assist in updating and maintaining the following information on earnings and profits, foreign taxes paid, parent company stock basis, and audit proceedings. Assist in preparing income tax provision calculation and review tax provision calculations. Maintain awareness of current technical and business developments. Research and analyze tax issues as they arise. Assist with foreign country tax issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 3-6 years of US Tax experience (FATCA, 871M, withholding)

· Financial Services/Banking experience (Custody product knowledge a PLUS)

· Strong Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for Data Reconciliation

· College degree or relevant work experience

· Client Service experience

· Alteryx, Visual Basic, or other technical skills a PLUS

· Familiarity with internal custody systems a PLUS

* Ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex issues
